Imaginary In Situ

In this exercise, we were tasked with digitally modeling an existing building and creating photorealistic renders. Our anti-perspectival approach resulted in oblique projections of both the entire structure and smaller chunks.

Later, we were challenged to imagine our existing building in a new environment, different from its real-life site. We created renders to show the building in situ in this new imagined environment.

My partner and I used Valerio Olgiati’s Pearl Milling Site Museum and Entrance, located in Muharraq, Bahrain.
